Can you take photos in a dark Church?
Yes, we have experience dealing with various types of Churches which have had various amounts of light available. We have the professional equipment to manage nearly any type of situation.
Have you done multi child Ceremonies?
Yes, we have had experience doing multiple child Christenings or Baptisms where there are three, four or even five groups during one session. With our experience, equipment and guidance we will help make it a simple thing to manage to ensure we get amazing photos.
How many photos do you take?
We take hundreds of photos per hour to capture all the key moments during your event. Our photography is then crafted to tell a story from beginning to end. From there the best photos are chosen & selections are then made.
What methods of payment do you take?
Firstly, we require a Deposit to secure your booking and date (no other bookings for that date are taken) then the balance is due prior to your event. Payment is via Direct Deposit but we can also accept PayPal or Credit Cards that will incur a small fee.
How do I get my photos?
We don’t use free services like DropBox or similar. We use a personalised online gallery system that enables you to mark your favourites, share them with friends, order prints and more. You have the option of ordering them on a USB key.
Why can't I get my photos faster?
We have a number of jobs scheduled into our photography workflow at any given time that are processed based on the booking date. We can bring your job forward if required & there are options for 7 day or 24 hour turnaround.
How much time should you allow during the day?
Just consider that a 5 minute drive is actually a 15-20 minute transition that includes packing up, driving, traffic, parking, setting up etc. Things can be done quickly but with large events if things are rushed it means people aren’t relaxed and it shows in the photos. Allow yourself plenty of time for delays, children not behaving as expected, people running late etc.
What photography equipment is used?
We use professional photography equipment from Canon and other brands that includes digital SLR cameras, premium lenses and lighting equipment.
Can I change my booking date?
You can change your booking date, but your deposit will be forfeited and would need to be paid again for the new date. This is because we would have rejected other bookings for your date.
Why do I need to pay for them on USB?
Firstly we need to purchase the USB keys, then spend time copying the files, packing, posting and managing the administration. Therefore we offer the personal online gallery as the first option which is included.
Can I give my photos to my supppliers?
No. All photos provided are for personal use only and not to be used by 3rd parties for commercial use or promotion. We have an option for them to purchase the images that includes a commercial use license.
How big are the files?
Typically the hi-resolution digital photos provided are 3MB+ in size per image which are suitable for prints, enlargements, canvas and photobooks.
